We have a wide range of ages at ABC with many players beginning their club hockey journey either in their teens or after leaving school. We tend to find that there is a drop off in the late 20s and early 30s as people get busier at work or start families.
A hard core remains at that age and they are joined (rejoined) in their 40s and 50s by players returning to hockey sometimes with their children. We are fortunate to have a group of older players who can mentor the younger players starting their hockey journey
In the men's grades in particular we have experienced players in D1 and D2 mentoring the younger players
