We are deeply saddened to write about the passing of Paul Dowd after a long illness. He put up his best fight but sadly passed away on Saturday 16th December.
Paul played for ABC for six years from 2010 until he moved south in 2016. He was a fixture in our Reserves team during his time with ABC and gave back to the club by helping with Youth Grade. He was awarded the Prem Supporters' Trophy in 2010 and was Prem 2 MVP in 2011.
Paul will always be remembered by those who knew him here at ABC Hockey Club. His contribution to the club will be remembered by those who played with him and the many he coached at Youth Grade level.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family as they navigate through this period of grief.
