Welcome back to existing members of ABC youth hockey and a big welcome to potential new players.
North Harbour runs a summer competition in term four for youth players at school in Year 7- Year 10. The focus is on participation at all levels with different grades to suit people at different stages on their hockey journey and it gives school players a look at what club hockey has to offer.
The programme will run for 7 weeks leading up to the Christmas school holidays (Nov 2 to Dec 14), with games on Monday nights. The club also typically runs a number of training sessions on Sundays over the season focusing on skills and mini games.
It is a great opportunity for developing players and many of our Premier team started their ABC journey with youth hockey. Each team has an experienced adult who acts as player-coach; their role is to provide structure and support to the team, rather than dominate the play, and there are restrictions on where they are allowed to play on the field. We will be running trials/muster for the coming season on the following dates: • Sunday 18th October, Harbour 1 3:30 - 5:30 pm (boys 3:30 to 4:30 girls 4:30 to 5:30) • Sunday 25th October, Harbour 1 3:30 - 5:30 pm (boys 3:30 to 4:30 girls 4:30 to 5:30) We look forward to welcoming you to ABC over the coming weeks and months and if you have any questions, please contact either:

The cost for the competition is $80. An invoice will be issued in early November with payment required by 30th November.
