Showcasing the spirit of hockey

D2 derby yesterday with a 54 year age gap between the oldest player and the youngest player on the turf - with the younger player being approximately eight inches taller! Honours went to Black (wearing Yellow) with a 5-2 victory over Maroon (wearing Black!)

On average the Black team was 19 years older than the Maroon team - I remain convinced as coach of Maroon that if we were to replay this game with the same players in 19 years' time that Maroon would get its revenge.
