Bragging rights and buying the first round on the line this weekend with two local derbies.
Last year's D2 Black team - five are now playing for Yellow!
First up Division 2 on Saturday: Yellow v Black at 5.30pm. This promises to be a high-scoring game with both sides boasting a strong strike force. The Yellow team is going into the end of round 1 in a three way tussle for second place before the grade splits into three (and will be hoping the Maroon can do them a favour by beating Takapuna Black). Black are in an arm-wrestle with seven teams fighting for the 5th-8th cut off.
Then on Sunday in what is likely to be a low scoring game - Yellow who lead the table face off against Black who are third. These teams met earlier in the season and honours were shared in a 1-1 draw.
Come down to the turf and the club house afterwards to support brother against brother as the ABC teams face off against one another.
