Ki started his hockey journey at Greenhithe Primary with his first coach being Erin Weber.

 

After that Mark Dempster took over and followed Ki, his brother Tai and Ryan Harrison (amongst others) through to intermediate hockey at Rosmini College. He played 1st 11 at Rosmini from year 9 through to year 13.

 

Ki has been coaching Rosmini 2nd XI for the last three years.
